AFD Has Consolidated Its Offices into a smaller space in our building to help deal with the current recession. The move took longer than planned and this double number issue is the result.
This is not a double issue and only counts as a single issue for mail subscriptions. The double number is simply a means to keep all the different types of distribution on track with the issue being distributed.
Special Announcement
Starting in January, 2011 Action Figure Digest will return to nine issues per year instead of eleven. All new and renewal mail subscriptions will then be sold at a lower U.S. subscriber rate of $49.00 for the 9 issues. This new schedule will allow AFD to still cover all the major industry events, new announcements, and more in depth stories on vintage lines while reducing yearly subscription cost to our loyal readers. Issues will be released approximately every six weeks except September thru December when they will arrive via mail and through retail outlets approximately every four weeks.
It is AFD’s goal to use this new schedule to improve the magazine and make it more valuable to our readers.
