The Super Shogun Stormtrooper by Super 7 brings yet another dimension to the Star Wars franchise. Hasbro showed some impressive new additions to its Transformers, Spider-Man, and Marvel Superheroes line up. Mattel unveiled its DC Universe vs Masters of the Universe 2-packs and furnished AFD with images of some additional Masters direct series available through MattyCollector.com.
Brian Doyle’s report on the London Toy Fair offers some previews of brands also to be offered in North America, plus several exclusive to England and/or Europe. >There will be a new Dr. Who line, but security problems after photos released to AFD in past years casued problems with the BBC, but Brian did manage to secure a few photos of the 11th Doctor. The H.M. Armed Forces line is likely to have interest for 12" G.I. Joe collectors, Tomy has some more Harry Potter items, and there is a new set of Starsign Smourfs to attest this franchise is still breathing in some parts of the world.
